UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Chris Lubbe will share his incredible personal story of resistance againgst apartheid and also the remarkable narrative of South Africa’s transition from apartheid to democracy—a tale of determination and resilience that honors the thousands of South Africans who sacrificed their lives for freedom.

Chris will take us on a journey of discovery. His audiences leave inspired to take action to bring about change within their personal lives, respective organisations & communities.

The key themes in his message are love, resilience, determination, courage, perseverance, persistence, and the transformative power of forgiveness.

Regardless of where you are, Chris will inspire you to step beyond limitations and to take action and become the best verson of yourself.
