Welcome to the official University of Portsmouth Bhangra Society! 

Originating from the region of Punjab, the art of Bhangra unites folk music and dance. At UoP Bhangra we look to bring diversity, excitement and creativity. 

For those interested in learning Bhangra, we hold classes taught by our own committee members, where you can learn new routines. The majority of our members had never done Bhangra before joining, so don't be shy, come down! 

Having previously competed in TBCu 2016 and Capital Bhangra 2017, we look forward to competing in future competitions and coming back bigger and better than ever!
