I’ve been working at the Union since first year, so it’s always something I’ve known and I don’t think I would’ve experienced all the things I’ve done in university I wouldn’t have had without the Union. Like, in second year we had Shred Party and I was a blogger for that and the only reason I was asked to do it was because I knew the Sabbs at the time and they recommended me for it. I wouldn’t be able to have done that if I hadn’t worked with the Students’ Union or gotten involved. I don’t think my university experience would’ve been the same without it.
