About

Gospel Choir Society

Welcome to Portsmouth Gospel Choir!

PGC, PGC WHATTTTTT!!!

We are a group of students passionate about using our voices for the glory of The Lord. We aim to create an environment where students can actively express themselves. This can be through singing, rapping, playing instruments, and spoken word.

From rehearsing on Monday evenings, we have been blessed with so many opportunities including;

  • releasing an album with 'Mustard Seed Songs' for international aid missions
  • headlining at our own concert
  • singing for the Royal Family at the Common Wealth Service 2018
  • being finalists on BBC's Pitch Battle

And that's just to name a few!

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God." Romans 15:5-7 (NIV)
