New system for dealing with enquiries in the Student Activities Department

How Will This Idea Benefit Students?

The introduction of a system similar to the one that the Advice Service uses at the Students' Union would allow the team to see how much each of them have to do, and when someone's off sick or too busy tasks can be picked up by someone else. This will ensure that nothing is ever missed and should also improve the response times of the Activities team. Clubs and societies will also be informed in real time on the progress of their requests no matter how big they may be. Currently all that we use is e-mail communication, and things can easily get lost when the activities team receive 50+ e-mails a day.
