How Will This Idea Benefit Students?

At the moment, to be in the AU you need 20 members. This might appear easy but for the less conventional sports this is a hard number to reach especially if they have a big turn around of players with students graduating. For some individuals sports (i.e. golf, racquets, trampolining etc) 20 players is the same as 20 teams, and no other club in the AU has capacity for 20 teams. So why are we forcing other clubs that don't need 20 members to compete have this many members? As long as they have a positive finance budget and can afford to fund the year, and meet the remaining AU criteria of competing regularly then total membership shouldn't be an issue.
