We should lobby the University to provide more funding to the Union for student groups and staff

Our Student Union receives considerably less funding from the University than other Unions around the UK. This is causing the Union to cut funding in lots of areas around the Union. For example, Student Brand Ambassadors at the University are paid a lot more than Student Staff at the Union, due to less funding. Also, it has been said that University staff that directly relates to the same type of Union staff is paid less. The Union provides a vital service for a lot of our students and isn't receiving the funding to provide them. Also, Student Groups are receiving a lot less financial support from the Union (due to lack of funding from the University) than other Student Groups around the UK.
