Living in Halls

Living in Halls can be a good option for many students who want to be on or near campus, close to lectures, without the added worry of dealing with letting agents and landlords.

Living in Private Accommodation

This is the most common type of private accommodation for students, where you can rent a property with other University students. You would probably have your own room but share a bathroom, kitchen and living room area. If you're considering this route, here's some useful information regarding living in private accommodation.

How to live together

Whilst the majority of shared households work perfectly well, you must make sure that you’re happy to live with your future housemates. Whether you are looking to live with a group of people you don’t know, a group of friends or on your own. Remember, a year is a long time to live with someone and not fall out.

Health & Wellbeing

If your health and wellbeing isn't in tip-top shape it can affect your academic life. The Union's Advice Service can offer advice and direct you to services relating to your health and wellbeing, including mental health, sexual health, alcohol and drugs, and social/personal issues.
