UoP places 2nd at Summer National Championships.

The University of Portsmouth Polo Club recently participated in SUPA Summer which is the University’s national championships. The 1st team where delighted to come second place. They played a total of 4 chukkas against: The university of Oxford 2:0, The University of Liverpool 1:0, Warwick University 1:0 and Oxford Brooke’s University 1:1. We were pleased with our out come, we secured 3 wins and 1 draw whereas the winning team Oxford Brooke’s University won 2 and drew 2 chukkas, we placed second on goal difference.

SUPA Summer was a fantastic experience for some of our new members who had recently started grass polo. Members are throughly looking forward to the SUPA Winter Arena National Championships.
