At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! 2023 Student Elections

Election Information

This Elections process is for the Student Officer Elections 2023. The outcome will result in the election of five Student Officers ready to lead the University of Portsmouth Students' Union for the 2023/24 academic year.

This year, we will be electing the following five positions:

Academic Representation Officer
Democracy and Campaigns Officer
Development Officer
Learning Experience Officer
Welfare Officer

You will be able to nominate yourself from 9am on Monday the 23rd of January until Friday the 24th of February 2023 and voting will be open from 9am on the 20th March until 1pm on the 24th March 2023.
