What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Hot Topic

This Month's Hot Topic: How can UPSU support you both during and around your Assessments

What is the Hot Topic?

The Hot Topic is a monthly survey that aims to gather quick feedback from students on particular issues. The surveys typically include 3-5 questions, and UPSU Insights proceed to write a report based on this feedback at the end of each month. This month we are launching our Annual Members Review, so it's actually 3 surveys! But that also means more chances to win prizes.

What do I get out of it?

Every student who fully completes a Hot Topic in the 2025/26 Academic Year will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 Voucher.
