Student Pantry
Following the success of the temporary Winter Pop-Up Pantry, we are happy to announce the opening of the permanent Student Pantry to continue to support students with the cost of living crisis.
Located in Gun House, the pantry is open on Wednesday (2:00PM-4:00PM) and all you have to do is scan your student ID and pay £5. After, you can select up to 10 items of your choice - from cupboard to household items.

The entrance is located under the bridge next to The Terrace Cafe. Head up the small stairs and go through the double doors. On your right, go through the two glass doors. A member of stuff will greet you there!
The pantry is divided in 2 sections: household & essential. The household section includes items such as toilet tissue, washing up liquid, fabric conditioner, surface cleaner, tea bags and shaving foam & razor. The essential section contains all of the canned or bagged foods: canned vegetables (e.g. potatoes, carrots, peas), soups, noodles, sauce jars, custard creams, snacks, sugar and beans. Items availability may vary based on stock.
Of course you can, but you’ll have to pay £5 each time.
Yes, as long as it fits within the 10 item limit. The household items section is limited to 3 items, but you can make up the rest from the essential section and grab multiple of the same item. You'll also receive a goodie bag with sauce sachets.
Yes, we hand out gluten free pasta at request and all items are labelled with allergen information.
The essential section has canned tuna, hotdog and beans.
