What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Trivia @ The Terrace is here to shake up your standard quiz night. Hosted at The Terrace Café by the Students' Union and running every fortnight, this is not just your average general knowledge game night. 💡🧠🥇

Alongside classic trivia rounds, expect high-energy, interactive challenges that put your creativity, teamwork and confidence to the test. One week you might be eating chillies in a 'Hot Ones' spice competition, and the next you could be strutting your stuff in a trash bag fashion round. Every quiz is different, and that is exactly the point.

There are multiple prizes up for grabs throughout the night, plus one winning team will take home the prize pot at the end. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from The Terrace bar. 🍹

Whether you are coming with your society, your coursemates, or just a group of competitive friends, Trivia @ The Terrace is set to become your new Thursday night tradition.

Gather your team. Bring the energy. And let the chaos begin. ⚡

One ticket admits one UoP student to Trivia @ The Terrace on the selected date. Each member of your quiz team must have their own ticket to take part. Maximum team size is 6 people.
Please bring your student ID with you, as this may be checked on entry.
Food, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase at The Terrace throughout the event.
