What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

About Eco Society

Hi guys and welcome to the Eco Society UPSU page!

We're a completely FREE society focused on local sustainability, positive environmental change, and having fun while saving the planet🌱

As EcoSoc has been recently readopted, we are going to be restarting in September 2026! We hope to host a variety of events, from group volunteering in the local community/environments, quizzes, socials, guest speakers, hopefully some meaningful campaigns, and much more!

With Portsmouth being a coastal city, we will naturally lean towards coastal environmental volunteering (beach cleans, etc), but of course we will endeavour to attend tree planting, rewilding, and more land-based activities.

Whether you're well-versed in sustainability or just wanting to know more about environmentalism, anyone is more than welcome to join EcoSoc in hopes to create a more environmentally conscious world! 🌍 💪
