Portsmouth Explorers Society (PES) is a student-led society built around exploration, community engagement and creating meaningful experiences. We aim to bring students together to discover new places, experience different cultures and make a positive difference both within the local community and beyond.

From exploring Portsmouth and organising trips across the UK to volunteering, fundraising and supporting community initiatives, we believe university life should be about more than what happens in the classroom. It should be an opportunity to develop new skills, build friendships, challenge yourself and contribute to something bigger.

Whether you're looking to discover somewhere new, take part in a charity initiative, get involved in volunteering or simply meet like-minded people, PES offers opportunities to get involved at your own pace.

You don't need to be an experienced explorer or have travelled the world. All you need is a willingness to get involved, try something new and make a difference.
