A full breakdown of the 2025/26 Election results! And a huge thank you to the 3343 who turned out to vote in this year's election!

Thank you to every single one of you who voted in this year's elections to decide your 2025/26 Elected Officer team!
The Union uses a Single Transferable Voting system to decide our Elections. If you aren’t too sure on how this works, our friends at Lincoln SU have created a quick little video explaining it using chocolate!
The full breakdown of this years elections are as follows:
Inclusion Officer
For the position of Inclusion Officer, 2532 students voted for this position and the quota was 1267. This election went to 5 rounds.
In the first round, the vote breakdown was as follows:
- Simba Dube received 969 votes
- Jeet Chatterjee received 478 votes
- Paul Praveen received 447 votes
- Nandha Kangath Pramod received 354 votes
- Wyatt Saveker received 206 votes
- No Suitable Candidate (NSC) received 78 votes (Eliminated this round and votes distributed)
In the second round, the vote breakdown was as follows:
- Simba Dube received 977 votes
- Jeet Chatterjee received 481 votes
- Paul Praveen received 454 votes
- Nandha Kangath Pramod received 360 votes
- Wyatt Saveker received 209 votes (Eliminated this round and votes distributed)
In the third round, the vote breakdown was as follows:
- Simba Dube received 977 votes
- Jeet Chatterjee received 501 votes

In the fourth round, the vote breakdown was as follows:

- Paul Praveen received 558 votes

In the fifth round, the vote breakdown was as follows:

- Paul Praveen received 727 votes
Simba Dube was elected with 1249 votes in the 5th round.

For the position of Opportunities Officer, 2670 students voted for this position and the quota was 1336. This election went to 5 rounds.
In the first round, the vote breakdown was as follows:

- Archana Badineni received 711 votes
- Jonathan Tyler-Moore received 519 votes
- Tej Tebite received 282 votes
- Bilal Faizan received 273 votes

Blessing Okafor was elected with 1206 votes in the 3rd round.
