Our mission is to have a positive impact with every Portsmouth student: Students are heard, students are empowered, students thrive.

What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

The SU has been slacking on the "gram"!

We have been having a very long discussion with our friends at Meta, but we currently have no access to our Instagram! It's not looking great, so why not give our backup account a follow!

If you look for information from us on Instagram, you may have noticed lately that we've been very quiet. Silent in fact! That's because we had a potential hacking scare a few months ago that locked us out of our account and we have been liaising with Meta/Instagram to regain access ever since.

Despite providing all the information asked for, we are still waiting for Meta to give our access back (and trust us we've chased several times).

So with Welcome Month around the corner, we thought it best to push our back up account and remind you of other social accounts we have to get information from outside of our emails and website:
