Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity.

They empower students and members of the university community to look after their own mental health, support others and create change.

Together they want to transform the state of student mental health so that all in higher education can thrive.

They've set up Student Space.

Student Space offers:

  • Access to dedicated support services for students, by phone or text. Their freephone number is open from 4pm to 11pm, offering listening support, information and onward signposting for students. Their text support is available 24/7 from a trained volunteer. It’s free, confidential and anonymous.
  • They provide information and tools to help students through the challenges of coronavirus. The information and tools will help you consider how to manage that uncertainty, respond to change and improve your student experience.
  • Helping students find support available at their place of study. They can you connect with the University, who can provide mental health and counselling support , student advice services, support networks and other resources. Wherever you seek support, it’s important to remember that if it isn’t quite right for you, that’s okay – you can try something else.
  • They also offer resources with support for University and your wellbeing during coronavirus, relationship and social life and bereavement and loss.

It is a fantastic resource for students. You can check it out here
