What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

University Opening Hours This Christmas

What buildings and services will available to you over the Christmas period!

If you're staying in Portsmouth over the holiday season, it'll be useful for you to know what services and buildings will be available and open to you, especially if you're still studying!

You can find out all the information about the University Opening Hours this Christmas HERE!

Teaching restarts on Monday 4 January 2021 (though the first week will be online only for the majority of students).

Most University offices will be closing from midday Friday 18 December until Monday 4 January. Security will be available to support with University emergencies by calling 023 9284 3333 and IT support is available 24/7 52 weeks a year on 023 9284 7777.
