What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Protesting Safely

#ReclaimTheseStreets

On Saturday 27th March at Guildhall, there will be a peaceful protest for Reclaim These Streets, protesting against violence on women and girls. All are welcome. Masks are mandatory.

We know many feel strongly about the recent and tragic events of Sarah Everard and know that you may want to show your support for all who have been in similar situations.

Whilst we understand and support an individuals' choice to protest, please be conscious of the current social distancing measures in place in the UK, there may be repercussions in the form of fines if you do not observe social distancing practices.

Follow these guidelines to make sure you keep yourself and others safe:
