At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Main information regarding this Election Position

This is the election for the position of Inclusion Officer in the 2026 student elections. Please take a look at the job description here.

All candidates (including No Suitable Candidate) will be displayed below after the nominations close on February 27th.

This election uses the single transferable vote (STV) system, allowing voters to rank candidates by preference. You can learn more about the STV system here: Single Transferable Voting.

Voting in this Election will open at 9 AM on Monday, March 16th, 2026, and close at 1 PM on Thursday, March 19th, 2026.

Results will be announced at 6 PM on Thursday, 19th March 2026.
