President

The society's president oversees all activities of the other committee members and the society as a whole. Think of this role as a team leader - you do a bit of everything. It is important to note that being the President does not mean you are the boss of the other committee members or the society in general. You can assist the other committee members in their roles and is often the point of communication between members and the committee. The President is in charge of the society’s email account and will communicate with the Student Union, so you must check it regularly. You may also have access to the society’s social media accounts and bank account.
