Position Information
The Welfare role is the first point of contact for society members and committee members if they require any support in or out of the society. In this role, you need to be aware of GDPR guidelines and how to follow up on issues with the Student Union. You may be required to complete risk assessments for larger events, such as those outside the University. You should also be able to keep a keen eye out on our social media platforms for any possible conflict in the society and aim to resolve it. Currently, our Welfare also assists in planning our Wellbeing Events - however, this is your choice as to whether these are continued.
