Position Information
- Be responsible for society funds and understand UPSU’s financial processes
- Maintain up-to-date financial reports to present at AGM, general meetings and committee meetings to keep committee informed of the group’s financial situation
- Manage budgets and monitor the general financial situation of your group, planning accordingly to prevent the society making a loss / going overdrawn
- Track and manage bills, invoices and other due payments
- Provide required information for audits when needed
- Confirm transport arrangements alongside President
- Work with President on annual committee handover
- Liaise with UPSU on financial, funding and budget matters
- Take the lead in seeking and securing external sponsorships
