Poetry, talk and creative writing workshop with Rico Coombs, author of "Where I'm From".

In this session, Rico will talk about his childhood and growing up in London, often in the darker side of the city, but prevailing through that through his love of poetry, enabling himself into University and into his career.
After, Rico will be holding a creating writing and poetry workshop, so not one to be missed for the creative writing fans.
In this session, you can expect to be challenged about what it is like to grow up in a large city like London, as well as some discussion about race and using that experience in a creative way. In the workshop, you can expect to be taken through Rico's creative process and how he writes his literature, you may have the opportunity to share your work if you like, but will not be required to.
