What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Make the most of PW - Portsmouth's longest running student night every Wednesday !!

Head down to Tokyo Joes from 6pm to get your wristband

We want you to be as safe as possible on your nights out. The Union, Eskimo11 and Popworld are dedicated to improving student night out safety! 💜

We encourage you to share the fun and bring along your plus 1’s and 2’s! It must be someone you know and trust, do not sign in anyone you don’t know.

Remember you can collect your “I need assistance” cards from the Union shop. If you feel unsafe at any point during your night out, you can hand these over to a staff member, who will support you.
