🏳️‍🌈 Come down to the Union on Monday 26th February to celebrate and learn about LGBTQ+ History through a variety of take-home craft activities. 🏳️‍🌈

Entry costs £2 and will provide you with access to the following:

• 🌵 Adopt a plant - Paint your own plant pot complete with real Succulent plant 
• 🎨 Mosaic Coaster Decorating - Unleash your creativity and protect your surfaces 
• 📱 Phone Charm Creating - Add some pizzaz to your phone 
• 🖌️ F**k Section 28 - Paint powder bombs. Section 28. Bosh.
• 🎉 Pom Poms - Make your own adorable pride flag pom poms
• 📸 Pride Flag Selfies - Pose with your creations against our gorgeous flower wall
• 🍹 JTM's Bar - Pompey's best mocktails 

You'll be able to complete each craft at least once and we will provide everything you need. Crafting will be supplemented by the hottest gay anthems 🎵

During this event you will have the opportunity to explore LGBTQ+ history through craft. Here's what to expect:

Learn about pronouns as you adopt a plant and decorate their pot, don't worry, the plant will let you know how they like to be referred to! 

Hear about the prevalence of the lGBTQ+ community through history as you make your own mosaic, we've always been here!

Make your own phone charms or bracelets and learn about the importance of expression for the LGBTQ+ community.

Learn about the history of different pride flags and make your own flag inspired pompoms to take away with you. Adorable!

Relax a while and learn about queer culture and spaces at UPSU's own JTM's bar, JTM will be serving up his own menu of mocktails.

And before you leave, educate yourself on prejudice and persecution in living memory and happening today before annihilating Section 28 (the law forbidding education around homosexuality) with our mechanical rainbow paint bombs.
