At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

SHaG Fest

Head to UPSU on the 10th of May for this year's SHaG Fest!
Learn all about safe sex; from sex positivity to sexual heath, prostate and chest and importantly, enthusiastic consent. There is plenty to see and learn at SHaG Fest! This will be ran in conjunction with The University of Portsmouth's Consent week which will be running from the 6th to the 10th of May.
SHaGFest (Sexual Health and Guidance Fest) 2024 will include;
- Informative Stalls
- Interactive games held by both UPWRFC and UPRFC
- Coaster painting
- Tote bag painting
- Bracelet making with body charms
- Photo opportunity in our body positivity mirror
- A pledge board to sign
- Scavenger hunt for some essentials...
Plus, there's free pizza for everyone from 12 pm to 1 pm. Additionally, we will have a presentation on Sexual Health by PARCS in meeting room 2 from 2pm- 2:30pm.
All followed by a SHaG quiz in Tokyo Joe's after the SHaGFest with some very exciting prizes from 7pm to 9 pm ;) ;)
