At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Bridgertea: Dance Class & Afternoon Tea

Dearest gentle reader,

This author has a delightful new event to announce... and it goes by the name of Bridgertea, a dance class & afternoon tea on Sunday 15th March @ 12pm.

With the second half of Bridgerton Season 4 having been so delectably sweet, one simply cannot be expected to return to ordinary life once the final credits have rolled. Instead, you are cordially invited to dance and dine like a member of the Ton. ☕💃

Under the guidance of a professional ballroom dancer, you will be introduced to the art of the Viennese Waltz like Kate and Anthony in Season 2, followed by the spirited Regency-era polka which the Bridgerton's love to do every first ball of the season. Once your dance cards have been filled, you'll be served with a private afternoon tea where sandwiches, scones, and pastries await. This bespoke high-tea spread and a hot drink is included within your ticket, as there is only the best for high society! 🍰

Spaces are, of course, limited. So, secure your ticket before society begins to whisper. 💌

Each ticket admits one student to the Bridgertea event. Entry includes participation in the Regency-style dance class and access to the afternoon tea buffet (food and a hot drink is included in ticket price).
Please note:
Secure shoes must be worn for the dance lesson. Trainers, slingbacks and mules are not permitted.
Please bring a bottle of water. Free refill points are available on site.
