Campaigns and Info
At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Other Advice and Support Services
Along with the Students' Union Advice Service, there are other advice and support services available through the university. From housing and finance support through to mediation services, there should be someone available to help you navigate student life!

The Chaplaincy is a safe and inclusive social space. Open to all students. regardless of your values and beliefs. Free tea and coffee is available every day during the week. |
For help managing your money effectively and advice on student loans in liaison with Student Finance England. |
If you're looking for flatmates or somewhere to live, or need any help dealing with contracts, landlords, lettings agents or neighbours, the student housing team can offer support. |

Everyone has the right to feel safe and welcome at the University. Please report any incident of socially unacceptable behaviour so the University can identify common issues and offer support. |
Support with finding part-time jobs, career planning, work experience and volunteering, graduate jobs, further study or starting up a business. |

The Additional Support and Disability Advice Centre (ASDAC) supports students and applicants who disclose a disability or require additional support for their studies. |
As a University of Portsmouth student, you can access extensive support to help you during your studies. |
Here to support students with a wide range of university IT issues including Wi-Fi, email and computer accounts. |
A restorative service that supports students to repair relationships in a safe, supportive environment, in partnership with the Portsmouth Mediation Service.
