All while being supported by the Students' Union and your fellow officers.

What's in it for you?

  • You’ll develop your team working skills and planning skills with events.
  • You’ll develop communications skills through the discussions you will have with both the University, Students’ Union and students.
  • You’ll develop skills in order to deliver reactive campaigns to current social movements.

At the students Union, we acknowledge and understand the conversations happening around the acronym ‘BAME’. We would like to reassure students that we do not believe in grouping cohorts of students together under one generic name and understand the disparities between each community. However, due to the term ‘BAME’ being used by the OFS (Office for Students) and the University, we will continue with its use for consistency in the work we will be doing.

If any student has any suggestions for improvements to the name, please contact rama.hilouneh@upsu.net
