Your voice is not just important—it's essential. It guides our decisions and shapes our community. Without your input, we wouldn't be where we are today. That's why we encourage you to explore different ways to use your student voice to enact positive change!
Here are some ways for you to make your voice heard:
1. Have Your Say
Engage in our democratic process for sharing and promoting student petitions. This platform is aimed at generating positive impacts for students within the Union, throughout the University, and even beyond. Petitions supported by a significant number of students are brought to the student council for consideration.
2. START (Student Academic Representation Tool)
Utilize this tool to provide feedback on your academic experiences. Accessible year-round, it allows students from various faculties to share their insights. Course Representatives play a pivotal role in taking action based on the feedback received, ensuring that student voices are heard and valued.
3. Course Representatives
Course Reps represent the academic interests of their respective courses and year groups. They serve as a vital link between students, University staff, and the Union. Course Reps actively address issues and participate in meetings with staff to enhance student life and academic experiences.
