Manifesto

Hiya! I would love to be considered for the role of President next year and have the opportunity to give something back to this incredible society. This year, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Rounders – it has been such a privilege to get to know everyone and practice a sport that I am so passionate about; it really is something I look forward to throughout my week and something I enjoy spending time being involved in.

I’d consider myself a highly motivated, enthusiastic person, who would whole-heartedly commit to this role, in all the ways that it would require. I’d be honoured to continue the legacy of the committee, providing a friendly environment for us to socialise and improve our Rounders skills and techniques, growing together not only as friends, but as a team. I am organised (cue the Monica Geller jokes!), which gives me the skills to be efficient and prompt when helping with admin for the club and organising matches – something I hope for us to be more involved with next year. I am outgoing and engaged, and I hope to provide a friendly and familiar face for people to interact with and feel at ease with, should they need a listening ear.

Most importantly, I am truly passionate about Rounders – it has been a huge part of my life growing up, and my experience with this at university has made me eternally grateful to be a part of it. I want to bring my love for the sport to the future of the club, making the Rounders society the best version it can be.
