At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

How do I register for a session?
Click the 'Buy Tickets' button - this will take you to our ticket page where you can bring up the full list of sessions available with date, time, location and information about each session. Simply select the events you want to attend, pop your details in and turn up!
Where will my session be?
Most sessions are being hosted in the Students' Union Building - this building contains the Common Room (Ground Floor), 3rd Space, Meeting Rooms and Activities Room (First Floor). There is signage within the building showing you where to go.
Some sessions are being held in the external venues. Click the links below for directions:

Do I have to have any previous experience to join a session?
No! All sessions are open to everyone regarding of background or previous experience
Do I have to be a Fresher to join in?
No! Sessions are open to all years - however, society members should not sign up for their own society's sessions.
What do I need to bring to a session?
Just yourself! However, Please wear suitable clothing for your session.
What do I do if I can't make a session anymore?
Please email events@upsu.net so we can cancel your ticket and free up your space for another student!
