What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Join us for a cosy and creative Crochet & Cafe evening on Tuesday 3rd March, 5pm–8pm at Guildhall Village with Stitch & Bitch Society. 🧶☕

Tickets are £2 and include a FREE hot drink plus all the materials you’ll need (though you’re very welcome to bring your own supplies or ongoing projects).

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a confident crocheter, this relaxed session is the perfect place to learn, create and unwind. Learn from Stitch & Bitch how to make a coaster or mug cosy, or bring your own project – all abilities welcome. Open to all students and existing society members, come solo or with friends and enjoy a friendly, laid-back evening.

We can’t wait to see you for an evening of yarn and good conversation! 🪡🫖 ✨
