What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Take a breather and join us for The Art of Advice: A Crafternoon — an afternoon of free crafts, chill vibes, and good company.

📍 Where: The Common Room, Union Building

⏰ Time: 12:30 – 3:30 PM

What’s on:

🎨 Fun, easy crafts — no skills required, just come along and get creative

☕ Free tea, coffee & snacks (fuel for your inner artist)

💬 A relaxed space to chat, unwind, and take a break from the uni whirlwind

💡 Our friendly Advice Team will be around if you fancy a quick chat about uni life or need a bit of guidance

Come along for a chilled afternoon — fly solo, bring your mates, or make new ones while you’re here.

We’ll bring the supplies, the snacks, and the good vibes. You just bring yourself.

Craft. Chat. Sip. Relax. Repeat. That’s the Art of Advice.
