The IT Society is a place to hang out with people who are passionate about all things computing, or those who are just interested. We provide a platform for students to network, learn, and enhance their skills, regardless of previous experience or whether they're in a tech course. We also host events outside of tech for a chance to relax and socialize. We would love to see you there!

We host numerous socials, workshops, talks, and excursions throughout the year. Things to expect are:

• Lightning Talks from Industry leaders. Includes free food and drink!
• Social Nights, like Pub socials and Board game nights
• 10 Week None Computing Course, learning python programming fundamentals perfect for students who need practical data analysis skills!
• Various learn a skill nights talks from our committee and beyond, from making your first game from no coding experience, to talks about quines and qolyquines, we have events for everyone! (a topic may extend beyond a single night depending on complexity)
• Hackathons, with prizes!
• Support Sessions, for coursework
