Welcome to the official University of Portsmouth Hindu society page! 

Proudly affiliated with NHSF (National Hindu Students Forum), our aim is to create a home away from home. We understand how difficult it must be to move away from home and family to a new place, where you may feel nervous and alone. This is why we are here- to unite like-minded individuals and to provide every member an opportunity to embrace our culture through our extensive range of events and national activities throughout the year. 

We’ll be holding 3 flagship events this year with weekly sessions to keep us all connected. These events you will definitely not want to miss! So keep your eyes peeled on our social media platforms for more information. 

The society is certainly not only for those who practice Hinduism. It is open to anyone who would just like to learn more about our culture and heritage. Come along to make new lifelong friends, eat yummy food and most importantly to have fun!
