Welcome to the Union page for the Creative Writing Society at the University of Portsmouth! Please sign up in order to get updates about upcoming events and announcements. 

Whilst the society is run by Creative Writing students, it does not matter whether you're a beginner writer or have been writing for years, whether you're a Creative Writing student or not, all are welcome in this creative space. 

Membership is free and we hope to welcome you all into our society! Disclaimer: There will be events where members may have to pay to attend but we will keep you updated on this and it will NOT be all events. 

So why should you join the Creative Writing society? 

We are a fun and inclusive society which aims to provide a safe space for writers of all talents and experiences to come and work on their craft! We have plans for many enjoyable events, which you should keep an eye out for on this page or our Instagram page linked below. 

Lastly, being a member of the Creative Writing Society is a significantly rewarding experience not only for your writing experience but also for yourself. We at the Creative Writing Society acknowledge how brilliant it feels to be able to create new works and are thrilled to be able to provide the space for this.
