What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Bring food and drink back to the UNION

This petition is to lobby the University to commit to bringing back a varied food provision to the Students Union. If the University is unable to commit to this then they allow the opportunity for the Union to take over the catering space to allow independent suppliers to come in and cater for students. Let the Union thrive!

How Will This Idea Benefit Students?

I want this petition to be the start of how the University has impacted Student engagement and participation within the Union.

The Union should be a central beating heart of campus that offers food, drink, warmth, activities, a place where students can study, a place where students feel safe, a place where students can meet friends and push their University life experience.

Students want to have the option to be able to offer food for our International students, so they have an element to be a little closer to home through different foods and make their university experience a little more homely.

Let the Union thrive, but for us to do so we need the food and fuel.
