Partial rent refund
Students should be eligible for a partial rent refund due to coronavirus restrictions, and paying money for accomodation when a lot of people have had to leave.

How Will This Idea Benefit Students?
Many people went home for the first lockdown and others were sent home between the 3rd and 9th of December by the government in order to be allowed home for christmas. Because of this many students have paid a lot of money when they have not been able to live in their accomodation for several weeks - some over 2 months if they moved out for the first lockdown. This amounts to hundreds if not thousands of pounds for some students and this money should be refunded at least partially. Students have also not had access to communal areas in accomodations due to coronavirus restrictions, which is understandable in order to stay safe but as the use of this is included in rent prices this should also be refunded.
