At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! How Will This Idea Benefit Students?

Conscious of the amount of time we have left in our tenures as your Elected Officers for 2020/2021, we have recently decided as a team to focus some of our efforts on a joint project together to see the academic year out. This project is split into three main subjects:

1) Embedding the Zero Tolerance to Racism policy.

2) Laying the groundwork for night out safety/substance abuse report and sexual harassment policy.

3) Supporting BAME Ambassadors with leading themselves and remaining relevant and embedding them in culture.

As Elected Officers, we would be interested in any and all student feedback and input and like to gauge the enthusiasm levels of our fellow students towards this project.
