What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Student Groups are a great development opportunity and a great place to find new friends, build a community and have a sense of belonging whilst at University!

Bedazzling book covers is officially having its moment, and now it’s your turn. 📖

Join us at the Union for a craft session where you can transform your favourite reads into sparkly statement pieces. Bring along a book you’d like to decorate and we’ll provide rhinestones, sequins, gemstones, and all the supplies you need to add some serious shine.

No book? No problem. You’re welcome to bring a keychain, phone case, notebook, or anything else you’d like to give a glow up. 💎

This is a relaxed, drop in style session held in Meeting Room 1. Come solo or bring a friend, get creative, and leave with something completely unique.

Rhinestones, sequins, gemstones, and all bedazzling equipment will be provided. Please bring your own book or item that you would like to decorate, such as a notebook, phone case, or keychain.
