First up is the Representation Fayre! Here you will have the opportunity to Take Charge and Stand Up by learning about ways that you can engage with representation activity at the Union, University, and wider community thinking.
This may include participation with Course Reps, the Student Council, the LGBT+ society and more!
We will have a host of activities and opportunities to help you learn about how you can stand for what you believe in and make a difference.
Skills Development Fayre - Take Opportunities and Stand Out - Wednesday 28th September
The second event will be the Skills Development Fayre! This is where you can find out how you can best grow your skills to benefit your next steps.
You can find information about volunteering opportunities, jobs at UPSU, how to adopt a society, or any other opportunities with your Union. All of which can help you as you look to your future career.
We will be joined by Careers & Employability to help provide advice on building your skills and getting involved at the University, and unveiling your Learning Experience Officer Jade’s 7 Steps to Success programme!
Don’t miss out!
Wellness Fayre - Take Care and Stand Together - Thursday 29th September
Finally, we have our Wellness Fayre, where we’re looking to end our series of events with a nice, relaxing gathering.
At the fayre, you can take part in a range of calming activities to put you in the best mindset before the academic year begins. This includes plant pot painting, playing some oversized games in the green space, or treating yourself to your own plant to grow alongside you during your studies!
There will also be professionals on hand from different University services, including Wellbeing, Chaplaincy, and Res Life, to share support and advice to help guide you through your University journey.
We can't wait to see you there!
