What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Who is a Development Officer?

Hello Beautiful people! I am your new development officer, developing students & ensuring you have an engaging uni experience since 2024!

From supporting your interest and developments via groups and sports societies to employability and career opportunities I am here to represent you and make sure your voice is heard.

Who is Dan?

• I moved here from Nigeria, lowkey 2 years ago! (lol that's crazy) and 5 months into uni I got involved with the students union, several groups and a few sports clubs! I’m not picking faves but TKD has my heart hehehe….

• Nigerian Fanta is the best drink ever

• When I’m not ‘developing students’ you can always find me at the southsea waterfront or at the gym or at our students union or scooting away!! with my headphones on, blasting NOTHING!! (noise cancelling headphones)

• I’m always down for a little shxts n’ gigs so feel free to say HI!! If you ever see me out and about
