What's On

At UPSU's Advice Service, we offer confidential, impartial and non-judgemental support on a range of academic and university issues that may affect your experience. Our team of trained advisers are on hand all year round to offer help where it's needed. The independent service works closely with the University of Portsmouth to resolve issues and ensure students are treated fairly.

UPSU are here to represent every student at the University of Portsmouth. We have many ways you can express your student voice, including: our Course Rep system, Have Your Say, Student Council, StART, Hot Topic, Annual Survey, Focus Groups, and more! Hey, i'm verity your new welfare officer for 25-26! I am super excited to be working with you on bettering the welfare and wellbeing services available! I am super passionate about making your student experience as seemless as posisbly by ensuring you have the proper care when and if you need it!

Who is Verity?

• LLB (Hons) LAW graduate here at UoP

• MSc Forensic investigation student

• I was the president of the Pole dance club for 2 years and have been pole dancing for nearly 5 years!

• I was also a flyer on the cheer team (blaze) throughout my masters year!

• ⁠ I am an animal enthusiatst as I grew up on farm and if you asked me to pick a fave I will go into a whole ramble on why every animal is my fave.

• ⁠ I love going on a walk, and I love finding a good charity, vintage or second hand shop along the way.
