Revise & Rest Sessions
The couple of weeks before assessments can feel a bit full on, and trying to sit and push through for hours does not always work the way we want it to. So instead, we are creating a space where you can revise in a way that actually feels manageable.
Join us in the UPSU Common Room for our Revise & Rest sessions. You can bring your work and use the space to revise, get started on an assignment, or plan out your exams — whatever you need to focus on.
The space will be calm and relaxed, with soft background music, as well as snacks and drinks available throughout. You can sit on your own if you want some quiet focus, or be with friends if that helps — it is completely up to you. You can also come and go as you please, whether that is for half an hour or the whole session.
Alongside this, we will have a low-key creative activity running each day. These are there if you need a break — you can dip in and out whenever it feels right, take a breather, and then come back to your work.
Today’s activity:
Plant Pot Painting
There is actually a reason for doing it this way. Taking short breaks and switching your brain onto something different, especially something creative, can help with focus and memory. It is not about stopping your revision; it is about making it work better.
There is no right way to use the session. You might stay all day, you might just pop in, you might spend more time crafting than revising; it is there for you to use in whatever way helps.
We will have everything set up — you just need to bring yourself and whatever you are working on.
Revise, pause, reset, and go again 📚✨
