Hello and welcome to the University of Portsmouth x King's College London Medical School Surgical Society! 

The aim of the society is to educate and aid current and prospective medical students in their pursuit of a surgical career. 

The Surgical Society is a student-led organization dedicated to inspiring and educating medical students with a keen interest in surgery. Our mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical application by providing a range of opportunities to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the surgical field.

Through engaging events such as hands-on surgical skills workshops, guest lectures from renowned surgeons, anatomy sessions, and networking opportunities with surgical professionals, we aim to give students exposure to various surgical specialties. From general surgery to orthopaedics and beyond.
