Placement should be allocated to students earlier

I and many other students believe placement should be told to students much earlier to relieve stress and anxiety.

How Will This Idea Benefit Students?

We have been told by lecturers since September that we will find out our allocated placement 'soon'. We have 6 days left at university of teaching and still do not know our placement area for mental health or the actual place for all nursing students. This is causing a LOT of stress on students. Many students also work part time and need to know their placement to work out what hours they can work in January. Also some students have children and need to arrange childcare. I believe on the behalf of the course, everyone would benefit from knowing their placements earlier to reduce stress and anxiety.
