Who is an Inclusion Officer?

Hello, my name is Simba and I am your new inclusion officer. This year I will focus on reducing the barriers students face in academics, development opportunities and welfare support. I hope these efforts will help students achieve excellence in all areas of university life. I look forward to working with you all.

Who is Simba?

  • I am interested in developing a strong university culture prioritising excellence in academics, athletics and civic duty.
  • I hope to help Portsmouth students achieve national and international acclaim for their efforts in these areas.
  • I am a keen debater and public speaker.
  • I also like to read and write. My favourite genres are period pieces, biographies and apologetics.
  • I like to meet people so expect to have many conversations with me around excellence, culture and inclusivity.
